I completed my PhD at Imperial College London, where I focused on the development of delivery systems for anti-microRNA therapeutics in pancreatic cancer. My work combined polymer chemistry, drug delivery, and cancer biology to design and evaluate polymeric nanoparticles for RNA therapeutics. My research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms that underlie cellular rejuvenation, particularly how epigenetic reprogramming can restore youthful function to aged cells. I am also interested on the aging of the immune system and strategies to rejuvenate immune cells as well as the development of smart gene therapies cells to combat age-related diseases and extend healthspan.
