Visiting Undergraduate
Research Interest:
I am a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Maine, currently doing my Honors Thesis in the Sinclair lab. I am fascinated by aging and how little we know about it despite it being the one disease that affects us all. I am eager to contribute to the study of its causes and reversal, so that we may prevent its consequences. Alzheimer's disease is of particular interest to me and the focus of my current work which utilizes the "ICE" (Inducible Changes to the Epigenome) system on human derived cerebral organoids to model human brain aging and Alzheimer’s. After graduating from UMaine in 2023, I plan to pursue a Ph.D. and continue my research efforts in the field of aging.
